Steps After Your Offer Is Accepted
First, deliver your earnest money to the title company and send the contract to your lender. Next, schedule inspections right away so you have time to review results and submit any repair request before the inspection period ends.
Review the seller’s disclosures, insurance claims history and title commitment, and shop for homeowners insurance. Your lender will order the appraisal and finalize underwriting, and you will receive a closing disclosure before you sign.
